Festival Řetízkárna in Jáchymov: culture, history and Dejvické divadlo in a unique setting 🎭

Dejvické divadlo presents a play inspired by the book Štěstí 🎬

One of the main highlights of this year’s festival will be a performance by Dejvické divadlo. Directly inside the original miners’ chain locker room from the 1950s in Rovnost, the theatre will perform the play Játra. The production is based on the book Štěstí by former political prisoner, scout and writer Jiří Stránský.

How to get from Apartmán Srdeční to Festival Řetízkárna 🚗🚌

Option 1: by car 🚗

From Apartmán Srdeční, you can reach Jáchymov by car in approximately 15 minutes. We recommend parking in the village of Nové Město, depending on parking availability, and continuing on foot to the festival area. Parking may also be available near the venue or elsewhere in Jáchymov.

Option 2: by bus from Boží Dar 🚌

If you prefer not to drive, you can use the bus connection from Boží Dar to Jáchymov. From the stop Boží Dar, u kostela, bus line 411230 runs towards Jáchymov. We recommend getting off at the stop Jáchymov, Radnice.

⏱️ The bus journey takes approximately: 20–25 minutes depending on the connection.

🚶‍♂️ Walking time from Apartmán Srdeční to the bus stop: approximately 5–8 minutes.

After arriving in Jáchymov, it is necessary to walk approximately another 45 minutes to reach the Festival Řetízkárna area.
