This year’s Museum Night in Ostrov will take place in the spirit of Renaissance history, while the castle grounds will transform into a lively scene full of costumes, music and historical atmosphere. The main theme of the evening will be the story of the Schlik family — their wealth, power and also the dramatic events connected to the Battle of Mohács, from which exactly 500 years have passed this year.

The dramatic highlight of the evening will be the top-level fencing and stunt group Merlet, considered among the best in Europe in their field. Their performance combines historical fencing, storytelling, music and cinematic choreography — every duel has its own story, emotion and tension.
How to get from Apartmán Srdeční to Ostrov? 🚗🚌
Option 1: by car 🚗
From Apartmán Srdeční, you can reach Ostrov by car in approximately 25 minutes. The route goes through Jáchymov and offers beautiful views of the Ore Mountains.
Parking is usually available in the town centre or near the castle grounds.
Option 2: by bus 🚌
From the bus stop Boží Dar, u kostela, located approximately 5–8 minutes on foot from Apartmán Srdeční, you can take a bus connection towards Ostrov to the stop Ostrov, zámek.
⏱️ The bus journey takes approximately 35 minutes.
